Each level of the game is based on a certain section of the movie so that is kind of cool, I guess. Finding Nemo on PlayStation 2 does feature cut scenes from the movie and these are great. However, the overall presentation really does leave a lot to be desired here. I am not saying that this is a horrible looking game, but you can clearly tell that they had a short time to get this thing made.

The scenes they have ripped from the movie look great and are the highlight of the presentation. The text in the game has a weird kind of thing going on and it may have been ok back in on your standard-def TV, but now it is kind of hard to read.

So, with that in mind and that is who clearly the target audience is, you would think that this is a game that would be easy…. The controls are kind of strange and it feels like a side scroller that wants to be in 3D. As a result, moving around and even nailing enemies with your bubbles takes a great deal of getting used to.

I would bet that most children would get extremely frustrated with this. To be fair, I think there are actually way more good Disney games than there are bad ones. Also, to be fair, during this era, Disney was making good games. Finding Nemo, on the other hand, feels kind of flat. I think if the game was not so hard, it would have been a harmless little romp through the events of the movie.
